The InforSense Biomarker Data Mining Solution (BDMS) provides a powerful and flexible IT framework to search, analyze, view, and compare clinical, LIMs and experimental data for biomarker research. This unified system supports any experimental technique including, Genome Wide Association studies, gene expression, microarrays, proteomics and image analysis. With the solution scientists can quickly find relevant project data using Smart Searches that only display information about your own project, organised by target and indication and then view integrated 'omics data and interactively remove outliers and re-calculate. Subject cohorts can easily be defined and biomarker values and endpoints compared across studies with easy to use interactive web interfaces. Once putative biomarkers are identified third party tools, such as GeneGo and Ingenuity, and public sources can be used to automatically annotate putative biomarker using InforSense. The solution also delivers enhanced literature searching to accelerate biomarker validation by providing a more focus set of search results.
